                         JUDGMENT

The limited plea of the petitioner is that the statutory

Appellate Authority, under the Land Reforms Act, be directed

to take up and dispose of Ext.P4 Appeal and Ext.P5 Application,

within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. I notice that a learned Judge of this Court had, by

order dated 31.03.2023, called for a report from the Appellate

Authority, which has been made available today. It records

that this matter was last listed before the said Authority on

11.05.2023 and that it will adjudicate the Appeal as soon as

possible.

Taking note of the afore report, I allow this Original

Petition and direct the Appellate Authority to take up and

dispose of Ext.P4 Appeal and Ext.P5 Application - if it is still

pending - as expeditiously as is possible, but not later than

eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this

judgment.
