                              JUDGMENT

The petitioner, an existing stage carriage operator on the route

Perinad-Pala, has filed the present writ petition under Article 226 of

the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the respondent to

consider Exhibit P2 request for revision of timings of his stage carriage

bearing registration No. KL-05-AT-8359.

2. The Joint Regional Transport Officer, Kanjirappally, had

submitted Exhibit P3 report before the Regional Transport Officer,

Kottayam on Exhibit P2 application submitted by the petitioner.

However, no decision has been taken by the respondent till date.

Hence this writ petition.

3. The learned Senior Government Pleader submits that the

decision on Exhibit P2 application shall be considered within a short

time.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the

present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent

to consider and pass orders on Exhibit P2 application for revision of

timings of the petitioner's stage carriage in accordance with law, within

a period of two months, after affording an opportunity of hearing to

the petitioner and all affected persons.

Writ petition stands finally disposed of.
