                                    JUDGMENT

The petitioner is the owner of a stage carriage bearing

registration No.KL-08/AE 7007. The prayer in the writ petition

is to permit the petitioner to remit the motor vehicle tax in

respect of the vehicle upto 31.03.2023 in ten instalments.

2. In similar circumstances, this Court had in

W.P(C).No.4537/2023, granted relief of equated monthly

instalments for clearing the arrears of motor vehicle tax.

3. There will hence be a direction to the respondent to

accept motor vehicle tax arrears in respect of stage carriage

bearing registration No. KL-08/AE 7007 in eight equal monthly

instalments, the first instalment becoming due on or before

24.04.2023 and the subsequent instalments becoming due on

or before 24th of the succeeding months. If the petitioner

commits default in payment of any one of the aforesaid

instalments, the benefit granted under this judgment will not

be available to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
