     ARCHANA, AGED 32 YEARS, D/O. CHANDRAN,
     KOOTTAMUCHI VEEDU, PUTHIYANKAM P.O,
     ALATHUR TALUK, PALAKKAD - 678 542.


     OP (Family Court) praying inter alia that in the circumstances
stated in the affidavit filed along with the OP (FC) the High Court be
pleased to direct the Hon'ble Family Court, Palakkad to dispose of the OP
No. 617/2019 within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court,
pending final disposal of the above Original Petition (FC) in the interest
of justice.


     This petition coming on for admission upon perusing the petition and
the affidavit filed in support of OP (FC) and upon hearing the arguments
of M/S. T.R.VISHNU & A.MOHAMMED SAVAD, Advocates for the petitioners and
of M/S. ABRAHAM SAMSON & LOVELY SAMSON, Advocates for the respondent, the
court passed the following:

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that during

the pendency of this original petition, the Family Court has already

listed O.P.No.617 of 2019 for trial on 17.04.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent would point out the

pendency of Mat.Appeal No.185 of 2023, which is one filed by the

respondent challenging the judgment and decree in O.P.No.826 of 2016.

3. The learned counsel on both sides would submit that in order

to explore the possibility of settlement by mediation, this original

petition may be referred for mediation, along with Mat.Appeal No.185

of 2023, before the Ernakulam Mediation Centre.

List this matter, along with Mat.Appeal No.185 of 2023, on

15.03.2023 at 10.15 a.m., for appearance of the parties.
