                             JUDGMENT

The petitioner has filed Ext.P2 request for effecting

mutation in respect of certain property belonging to the

petitioner. The said application is pending before the 4 th

respondent. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

a portion of the land has been acquired and the compensation

has not been paid so far because the petitioner has not been

able to provide a copy of the tax receipt in the name of the

petitioner. It is therefore submitted that the 4th respondent may

be directed to consider Ext.P2 application within a time frame

to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Government Pleader submits that there

is no objection in such a direction being issued.

Accordingly, this writ petition will stand disposed of

directing the 4th respondent to consider and pass orders on

Ext.P2, in accordance with law, within a period of one month

from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
