                               JUDGMENT

Dated this the 11th day of January, 2023

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking the

following reliefs:

"i) To issue a writ of certiorari calling for the records leading to Exhibit P8 memo, in so as limiting the light duty period up to 3 months, contrary to Section 47 of the Disabilities Act, and quash the same;

ii) To declare that the petitioner is entitled to suitable alternative employment (light duty) in the respondent corporation and other benefits under Section 47 (1) of the Persons With Disabilities Act;

iii) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or direction directing the respondents to continue the duty arrangement already allowed to the petitioner as per Ext.P8 memo."

2. Today, when the matter is taken up, Sri.N. Sasidharan

Unnithan, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the

subject matter of the writ petition has become infructuous.

Placing on record the above submission, the writ petition

is dismissed as infructuous.
