     Application praying that in the circumstances stated therein the
High Court be pleased to suspend the execution of sentence as per Judgment
dated 25.07.2023 in S.C.No.2042/2014 on the files of the Court of the
Sessions Judge, Thiruvananthapuram, pending final disposal of the above
Criminal Appeal, in the interest of justice.


     This Application coming on for orders upon perusing the application
and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. AJIT G ANJARLEKAR, G.P.SHINOD,
GOVIND PADMANAABHAN, ATUL MATHEWS, GAYATHRI S.B., Advocates for the
petitioner and of the PUBLIC PROSECUTOR for the respondents, the court
passed the following:

                                          ORDER

Sentence of imprisonment imposed upon the appellant in

S.C.No.2042/2014 on the files of the Sessions Court, Thiruvnanthapuram,

shall stand suspended till the disposal of the appeal, on condition that

appellant/petitioner executes a bond for Rs.50,000/- with two solvent

sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the Trial Court and on

further condition that he deposits 50% of the fine amount imposed,

within two weeks from today.
