                                        JUDGMENT

This writ petition is filed challenging Ext.P5 order by which the

passport of the petitioner was impounded for alleged violation of Ext.P4

notification. The petitioner has also sought for issuance of directions to the

2nd respondent to order the release of passport No.U 0143863 seized in

pursuance to Ext.P3.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned

DSGI has handed over a copy of the order issued by the Regional Passport

Officer on 12.4.2023. Paragraph No.3 of the order reads as under:

'3. Accordingly, the passport No.U0143863 dated 25.06.2019 issued to Smt. Rony Kalathiparambil Chacko has been released from impounding the same has been despatched to the petitioner vide Speed Post Tracking No.PP793356462IN dated 12.04.2023.'

In that view of the matter, nothing further survives in this

matter. This writ petition is closed.
