                                    JUDGMENT

The prayer in the writ petition is to consider Ext.P3

request made before the Revenue Divisional Officer for

correction of entries in the Basic Tax Register.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the

case, I am of the view that this writ petition can be

disposed of, directing the petitioner to make an

appropriate application before the 2nd respondent within a

period of two weeks from today, in which event the 2nd

respondent shall take a decision on the request, after

hearing the petitioner. The 2nd respondent shall take a

decision thereon within an outer time limit of three

months thereafter.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
