                                JUDGMENT

Dated this the 31st day of August, 2022

The petitioner has approached the respondent

with a request for endorsement of tax at Non

Transport Vehicle rates for vehicle bearing

registration No. KL-02-AA-4107.

2. The learned Government Pleader submits

that though a direction can be issued to the

respondent to consider the matter, the petitioner is

not legally entitled to the same.

Having regard to the limited nature of relief

sought for by the petitioner, the writ petition is

disposed of directing the respondent to consider and

pass orders on Ext.P1 request after affording to the

petitioner an opportunity of hearing. A decision shall

be taken on Ext.P1 within a period of three months

from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this

judgment. I make it clear that I have not expressed

any opinion on the merits of the matter. It is open for WPC NO.26748 OF 2022

the respondent to consider the matter in accordance

with law.
