                               JUDGMENT

This writ petition seeks for a direction to renew passport of the

petitioner for the period stipulated in Ext.P5 order or such other

period as the passport issuing authority deems it fit, based upon the

permission granted by the Judicial magistrate of First Class-III, North

Paravur.

2. Adv.Jaisankar V. Nair, learned Central Government Counsel

upon instructions submitted that the passport authority is not averse

to consider renewing the passport, if all conditions are satisfied. It is

also submitted that, to the knowledge of the respondents, till date,

petitioner has not made any application for renewing the passport.

3. Adv.K.I.Abdul Rasheed, learned counsel for the petitioner

responded by stating that petitioner will make an application as

expeditiously as possible.

4. In the said circumstances, if petitioner makes an application W.P.(C) No.19622/21

for renewal of his passport, the 1st respondent shall consider the

same in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon,

as expeditiously as possible, within a period of two weeks from the

date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
