Dated this the 18th day of March, 2021

                                 JUDGMENT

All that the petitioner seeks for is an expeditious

consideration of Ext P4 application filed by the

petitioner in terms of Section 27(A) of the Kerala

Conservation of Paddyland and Wetland Act, 2008 (in short,

'the Act') in relation to his property for the purpose of

construction of a house. Relying on Ext P3 extract of the

Data Bank maintained under the Act, the petitioner

contends that the property has been converted as a dry

land prior to 2008.

Writ petition is disposed of directing the second

respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer to consider and

pass appropriate orders on the application submitted by

the petitioner in terms of the Act, on getting the

necessary reports, as expeditiously as possible and at any

rate within a period of two months from the date of

receipt of a copy of this judgment.
