Earlier vide judgment dated 02.02.2021, we directed the Chief

Secretary, Government of Kerala, to consider and pass orders on the

representation dated 21.10.2020.

2. Matter pertains to enhancement of reservation and admission

to Higher Educational Institutions. Seeking extension of three months

time from 20.03.2021, I. A No. 1 of 2021 has been filed. Reason for

extension of time was that during the said period, Model Code of

Conduct was in force, besides information has to be obtained from

various departments. Hence it is contended that the Chief Secretary,

Government of Kerala, could not pass orders within the time frame.

Extension of time sought for is also over. However, taking note I. A. No. 1 of 2021 in W. P. (C) No. 1171 of 2021

of the reasons assigned, we deem it fit to extend the time by a further

period of two months from today, for compliance of the directions

issued in the judgment dated 02.02.2021 in W. P. (c) No. 1171 of

2021.
