This Contempt of Court Case (Civil) having come up for orders on

                                      O R D E R

This contempt case is filed complaining that the directives contained in the judgment dated 12/12/2017 in WP(C)No.26451 of 2017 is not complied with.

Apparently, the issue relates to a pending application filed by the petitioner seeking issuance of a genuineness certificate in regard to the patta issued and the possession of the property enjoyed by the petitioner in Resurvey No.105/12 part in Block No.48 of Marayoor Village, Idukki District.

The affidavit filed by the Tahsildar shows that steps were taken and the earlier patta was found to be issued by a tainted officer was cancelled and a decision was taken to issue a fresh patta to the petitioner.

Therefore, in effect, the possession of the property enjoyed by the petitioner was found to be genuine and the petitioner is entitled for patta.

However, the learned Government Pleader submitted that due to the lock down restrictions, the Tahsildar could not issue a patta in favour of the petitioner as is expected, and he seeks two weeks' time for taking issuing patta.

Post the matter on 12/03/2021 as a last chance.
