For the Petitioner : Mr. B.M. Tripathi, Sr. Advocate For the State : Mr. Azeemuddin, A.P.P.

------

Order No.02 / Dated : 24.03.2026 Heard Mr. B.M. Tripathi, learned senior counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with S.T. No.87 of 2026 arising out of Topchanchi P.S. Case No. 100 of 2025 corresponding to G. R. No. 24 of 2026.

It has been alleged that the sister of the informant had died at her matrimonial house in an unnatural circumstance. The petitioner appears to be the husband of the deceased.

It has been submitted by the learned senior counsel for the petitioner that the charge sheet has been submitted. It has further been submitted that the marriage was solemnized eight years back and in fact, post-mortem report does reveal that no marks of injury was found on the person of the deceased. Learned senior counsel adds that in fact the deceased had committed suicide on account of the allegation that the petitioner did not permit the deceased to visit her parental home or the house of her sister.

Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the charge sheet has been submitted and the cause of death has been opined to be as Asphyxia due to hanging, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Dhanbad in connection with S.T. No.87 of 2026 arising out of Topchanchi P.S. Case No. 100 of 2025 corresponding to G. R. No. 24 of 2026.
