This bail application has been filed on behalf of Harendra Kumar Singh who is in custody since 20.10.2025 in connection with Pithoria P.S. Case No. 139 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 25(1-B)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Ranchi, is pressed into motion.

As per the FIR, one country made pistol with one live cartridge was seized from Scorpio vehicle in which this petitioner is said to be travelling at the relevant time.

It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that the driver of the vehicle has already been granted bail by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in B.A. No. 461 of 2026. This petitioner has no criminal antecedent, but was remanded in another case after his arrest in the present case and he is in custody since 19.10.2025.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on depositing security of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
