11/11.03.2026 I.A. No.3004 of 2026 in SA No.154 of 2024 The learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that this petition has been filed for substituted service of notice upon respondent nos.1, 2, 3, 4 and 6. He has also submitted that in spite of best of efforts, the appellant could not secure their appearance.

2. The learned counsel submits that as per the plaint, respondent nos.1 to 4 have permanent residence at Kolkata and so far as respondent no.6 is concerned, he is a resident of Hazaribagh. He submits that appropriate order may be passed for publication of service of notice through newspaper publication having circulation at Kolkata and Hazaribagh.

3. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the prayer for substituted service of notice is allowed. The service of notice shall be effected through publication in newspapers having circulation in Kolkata and Hazaribagh, namely The Telegraph and Prabhat Khabar.

4. The draft notice for publication of service of notice be furnished by the appellant in the Registry within a period of one week from today. The Registry is directed to hand over the notices to be published to the learned counsel for the appellant within a week thereafter.

5. The supplementary affidavit annexing the newspaper after publications be filed by 24.04.2026.

6. Post these cases on 04.05.2026.

7. Interim order passed earlier in S.A. No.153 of 2018 is extended till 04.05.2026.
