10 / 20.01.2026 Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. This I.A. seeks condonation of delay of 172 days in filing the appeal.
The reasons for the delay have been set out in paragraphs-4 to 15 of the interim
application.
3. The period has been reckoned from the date of receipt of the certified
copy of the impugned judgment and order which itself took about two months.
After that, the file was processed and the appeal has been filed. Though the
delay is of 172 days, same has been properly explained and the explanation
constitutes sufficient cause. Accordingly, we condone the delay of 172 days and
dispose of this I.A.
4. Place this appeal 'For Admission' on 17th of February, 2026.
5. Learned counsel for the appellants states that within this week, copy of
the Appeal Memo along with its enclosures will be supplied to the learned
counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent.
