04/06.02.2026 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well

as learned counsel appearing for the CBI.

2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with

R.C. - 32, A/2025-R, for the alleged offences registered under

Sections 61(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 7, 8

and 12 of P.C. Act pending in the Court of learned A.J.C.-I, Ranchi.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that

the petitioner happened to be husband of Poonam Devi and the

allegations are made that in the account of Poonam Devi a sum of

Rs.5,00,100/- has been credited and it has been alleged that the

said was the amount of illegal gratification of the petitioner. He

further submits that the petitioner has appeared before the CBI five

times and cooperated in the investigation and the CBI has

submitted the charge-sheet.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the CBI submits that the

allegations are there of crediting Rs.5,00,100/- in the account of

wife of this petitioner and that is alleged illegal gratification of the

petitioner.

5. On query made by the Court, learned counsel appearing for

the CBI fairly submits that the petitioner has appeared before the

CBI and now the charge-sheet has been submitted and in the

investigation the CBI has chosen not to arrest the petitioner and in

that view of the matter I am inclined to provide anticipatory bail to

the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby directed

to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from

today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above

named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of

Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of

the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C.-I, Ranchi

in connection with R.C. - 32, A/2025-R, subject to the conditions as

laid down under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha

Sanhita, 2023.
