03/17.09.2025 This Criminal Appeal (SJ) No. 756 of 2025 has been filed on behalf of the appellant challenging the impugned judgment of conviction and sentence dated 19.08.2025 passed by Sri Vijay Kumar Srivastava, learned Special Judge, CBI-cum- District and Additional Sessions Judge-V, Dhanbad in R. C. Case No. 03 (A) of 2014 (D) by which the appellant has been convicted for the offences under Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and sentenced to undergo R. I. for a period of two (2) years and to pay the fine of Rs. 10,000/- for the offence under Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

2. I. A. No. 11744 of 2025 has been filed under Section 430 (1) of the BNSS, 2023 on behalf of the appellant for confirmation of Provisional Bail granted by the learned Court below on 19.08.2025 for a period of forty-five (45) days.

3. Prayer is allowed.

4. Under the circumstances, provisional bail granted to the appellant by the learned Special Judge, CBI-cum- District and

Additional Sessions Judge-V, Dhanbad in connection with R. C. Case No. 03 (A) of 2014 (D) is confirmed.

5. I. A. No. 11744 of 2025 is allowed and stands disposed of.

6. Admit.

7. Issue Notice.
