This Criminal Appeal has been filed on behalf of the appellant challenging the judgment of conviction and sentence dated 22.05.2025 passed in Electricity Case No.05 of 2019, arising out of Nagar Untari P.S. Case No.144 of 2010 (corresponding to G.R Case No.843 of 2010) by Sri Sanjay Kumar Singh-II, learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum Special Judge Electricity Act Cases Nagar Untari, Garhwa by which the appellant has been convicted for the offences under Sections 135 of Electricity Act and sentenced to undergo S.I for one (01) year, although the appellant has been acquitted under section 136 of Electricity Act.

2. Heard Mr. Manoj Kr. Choubey, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Rakesh Ranjan, learned APP for the State.

3. I.A. No.8743 of 2025 has been filed on behalf of the appellant for confirmation of provisional bail granted on 22.05.2025.

4. A supplementary affidavit has been filed on behalf of the appellant on 02.09.2025 stating therein that the provisional bail of the appellant has been extended vide order dated 22.08.2025

till 22.09.2025 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum Special Judge, Electricity Act Cases, Nagar Untari, Garhwa.

5. Accordingly, the provisional bail granted to the appellant namely, Raju Vishwakarma by the learned Court below is hereby confirmed.

6. Thus, I.A. No.8743 of 2025 is allowed and stands disposed of.

7. Admit.
