02/25.07.2025       I.A. No.6967 of 2025 has been filed for condoning the

delay of 554 days in filing of the criminal revision.

2. Mr. Banerjee, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner

submits that the petitioner was not knowing about the

pronouncement of the judgment by the learned appellate court and

thereafter the petitioner has been taken into custody by the CBI on

24.10.2024 and he is still languishing in jail. He further submits that

while he was in custody the petitioner herein has suffered from the

paralytic attack and he has been treated in Rajendra Institute of

Medical Science (RIMS), Ranchi and to buttress this argument, he

refers to discharge sheet. On this ground, he submits that the delay

of 554 days may kindly be condoned.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the CBI opposes the prayer

and submits that there is no proper explanation of condoning the

said delay, as such the said may kindly be dismissed.

4. In paragraph No.4 of the said I.A., it has been disclosed

that communication was not made to the petitioner for the

pronouncement of the judgment by his counsel and the CBI has

arrested the petitioner on 24.10.2024 and during the custody he

has suffered paralytic attack and the discharge sheet is annexed in

the said I.A.

5. The Court finds that sufficient ground is made out for

condoning the delay of 554 days, as such the delay of 554 days is

hereby condoned.

6. I.A. allowed and disposed of.

7. Let this matter appear in the next week under the heading

for Admission.
