Oral Order

The matter has been taken up in National Lok Adalat. Mr. Sahadeo Choudhary learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned counsel for the opposite parties are present.

The instant cr. revision has been preferred against the judgment of conviction and sentence passed in Complaint Case No. 1026/2016, whereby and whereunder, the petitioner has been convicted and sentenced under Section 138 of N.I. Act and a fine of Rs.4,50,000/- was imposed as compensation. Conviction has been affirmed in Cr. Appeal No. 47/2018.

The matter was earlier referred for mediation and as per the mediation report dated 12.08.2025, the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties.

Under the circumstance, this cr. revision stands disposed of in terms of the compromise and the offence under Section 138 of N.I. Act is compounded and the petitioner is acquitted of the charges. Sureties are discharged from the liability of bail bond.
