1. The trial judge has convicted the convict / respondent under

Section 302 of the I.P.C. and inflicted the capital punishment

i.e. the sentence to death.

2. The aforesaid judgment has been referred for its confirmation

by the High Court as required under the provision of Section

366 of the Cr.P.C.

3. Copy of Judgment along with the lower court record has been

sent.

4. Mr. Pankaj Kumar, Public Prosecutor is appearing for the State

of Jharkhand.

5. Reference is admitted.

6. Let notice be issued upon the Saluka Hembrom, the convict.

Steps to be taken by the office to be communicated to the said

convict through the Jail Authority.

7. Jail Authority is directed to submit a report about the service

of notice upon the said convict.

8. Office is also directed to report as to whether any appeal

against the judgment of conviction has been filed or not?

9. Let this matter be placed along with fresh report after four

weeks i.e. on 13.03.2024.

10. Let the name of Mr. Pankaj Kumar, learned Public Prosecutor

be reflected in the daily cause list.
