Petitioners are claiming seniority over the direct recruitments. Mr. Saurabh Shekhar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners places heavy reliance in the case of Akhilesh Pd. Singh V. State of Jharkhand in W.P.(S) No3480 of 2013.

Respondents are directed to seek specific instruction whether in view of judgment pronounced by this Court, petitioners are entitled for seniority claimed by them.

As prayed for, put up this case on 04.10.2023.
