The petitioner Umakant Yadav has filed this criminal appeal against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 12.10.2023, passed by Ms. Garima Mishra, learned Special Judge, POCSO, Deoghar, in POCSO Case No.41 of 2019 arising out of Mohanpur P.S. Case No.192 of 2019, holding the petitioner guilty of offences under Section 448 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act and thereby sentencing him to undergo R. I. for one year for the offence under Section 448 of the Indian Penal Code and R.I. for three years for offence under Section 8 of the POCSO Act along with fine of Rs.3,000/- in default of payment of fine, he was further directed to undergo imprisonment for the period of one month.
I.A. No.10323 of 2023 Learned trial court had released the appellant on provisional bail after his conviction for a period of 30 days.
The present I.A. has been filed praying for confirming the provisional bail granted to the appellant.
Let this I.A. No.10323 of 2023 be placed before the appropriate Bench having the roster to hear the matter on 30.11.2023.
Till then, interim order granted to the appellant vide order dated 12.10.2023 is extended.
