This death reference has been registered pursuant to letter dated 12th December 2022 sent along with a copy of the judgment in POCSO Case No. 65 of 2021 passed against Md. Rahet Seikh @ Kaluwa Seikh.

In the connected criminal appeal vide Criminal Appeal (DB) No. 47 of 2023, Mr. Raja Ravi Shekhar Singh, the learned counsel appears for the convict-appellant.

Mr. Raja Ravi Shekhar Singh, the learned counsel is representing the convict-respondent in Death Reference (DB) No. 04 of 2022.

Having regard to the High Court of Jharkhand Rules, 2001, this death reference shall be listed at the top of the Board.

Mr. Pankaj Kumar, the learned Public Prosecutor shall ensure that before the next date of hearing a complete set of the entire lower Court records is produced with advance copy served upon the learned counsel for the convict.

The learned counsel for the convict shall be at liberty to produce any other material evidence which is not included in the paper book but forms part of the lower Court records.

On the request of the learned Public Prosecutor, post these matters on 19th April 2023.

Before the next date of hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel for the convict shall file written submissions along with chart prepared on the basis of the witnesses produced during the sessions trial and compilation of judgments, if any.
