The petitioners have challenged the judgment dated 14 th June 2016 passed in Criminal Appeal No. 24 of 2016.
The appellate Court has set aside the judgment of conviction of the petitioners in G.R. Case No. 532 of 2009 which led to T.R No. 27 of 2016 and remitted the matter back to the trial Court for a trial afresh.
Mr. Nishant Kr. Roy, the learned counsel for the petitioners informs the Court that during pendency of the present criminal revision petition trial in T.R No. 27 of 2016 has concluded and the petitioners have been convicted.
In view of the aforesaid development, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present criminal revision petition has been rendered infructuous.
Accordingly, Criminal Revision No. 1233 of 2016 is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
