7/29.11.2022 The petitioners, in this writ application, pray for a direction upon the respondents to consider their cases for regularization to the post of Lady Supervisor in terms of the order passed by this Court in W.P. (S) No. 5477 of 2018 dated 20.12.2018, as their case falls under the same category being a contractual appointee working since 2005, against the sanctioned and vacant post.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already filed representation before the respondent authority and suffice it would be if a direction is given to the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioners.

Counsel for the respondents submits that his representation will be looked into and an appropriate order will be passed.

After hearing the counsel for the parties, this writ application is being disposed of directing the petitioners to approach Respondent No. 2 the Secretary, Home, Women Child Development and Social Welfare Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi, preferably within six weeks from today. On receipt of such representation, Respondent No. 2 will look into the grievance of the petitioners and will dispose of the representation of the petitioners as per law and considering the judgment passed by this Court, within eight weeks thereafter.

If it is found that the petitioners are entitled for the relief, as claimed, the same should be extended to them immediately. If any part of the claim of the petitioners is rejected, the reasons thereof, should also be communicated to the petitioners.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
