04/22.11.2022 Having heard learned counsel for the parties on the prayer for condonation of delay of 1 day in preferring the instant memo of appeal, made through I.A. No. 8974 of 2022, the delay is condoned. I.A. No. 8974 of 2022 stands disposed of.

Learned counsel for the parties agree that an effort for amicable settlement of the matrimonial dispute can be made at this appellate stage also. By the impugned judgment dated 12.01.2022 and decree dated 24.01.2022 passed in Original Suit No. 28 of 2021 by the court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Gumla, the suit preferred by the respondent wife for dissolution of marriage has been allowed with a direction to pay a sum of Rs.11.00 Lakh as permanent alimony.

Having regard to the submission made by learned counsel for the parties and in spirit of the Family Courts Act, 1984, let the parties appear before the learned Member Secretary, JHALSA on 02.12.2022 at 10.30 a.m. Learned Member Secretary, JHALSA can also be approached on the following number:

Cell No.8986601912 Landline No. 0651-2482392 On their appearance, matter be placed before the learned Mediator, JHALSA for undertaking the exercise. Appellant husband shall pay a sum of Rs.1250/- to the respondent wife as travelling and incidental expenses on each date she attends the mediation, in presence of the learned Mediator, JHALSA. Parties should attend the mediation proceedings with an open mind and attend each of the sittings.

If the parties are able to arrive at an amicable settlement, terms and conditions thereof be reduced in writing under their joint signature and be submitted along with the report four weeks thereafter.
