6/30.03.2022 This appeal is under Order XLIII Rule 1(d) of the Code of Civil
Procedure. This suit was valued at Rs.6,00,000/- so as the appeal. The pecuniary appellate jurisdiction of the District Judge increased to Rs.25 Lakhs from Rs.2 lakhs 50 thousand, by an amendment in the Bengal Agra and Assam Civil Courts (Jharkhand Amendment) Act, 2018 (Jharkhand Act 09/2019).
Thus, in view of Bengal Agra and Assam Civil Courts (Jharkhand Amendment) Act, 2018 (Jharkhand Act 09/2019) and in view of the judgment passed by this Court in F.A. No. 203 of 2018, since the pecuniary appellate jurisdiction of the District Judge has been increased to Rs.25 lakhs, this miscellaneous appeal filed under Order XLIII Rule 1(d) C.P.C., be sent to the Principal District Judge, Bokaro for deciding the case by himself or by any other District Judges having jurisdiction to hear the matter.
This miscellaneous appeal stands disposed of.
