04/28.06.2022. This petition has been filed for quashing of cognizance order dated
28.01.2020 passed in SC/ST (Protest) Case No.137/18, T.R. No.114/19
passed by the learned Special Judge, SC/ST Act, Hazaribagh.
Section 14-A of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention
of Atrocities) Act envisages that an appeal will lie against the judgment or
order.
Mr. Rashidi, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may
kindly be allowed to convert this petition into appeal.
Prayer is allowed.
Let him do so.
After converting this petition into appeal, the office will proceed
accordingly.
