The writ petition is taken up today through Video conferencing.

The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 09.01.2017 passed by Civil Judge (Sr. Division)-VI, Dhanbad in Money Suit No. 16/2006. The petitioner has also prayed for issuance of direction upon the court below to complete the cross-examination of the witness.

Vide order dated 18.10.2021, a report was called from the concerned court below regarding the present status of Money Suit No. 16/2006, in pursuance of which the report has been submitted vide letter no. 20 dated 25.10.2021 by I/C, Civil Judge (Sr. Division)-V, Dhanbad stating inter alia that judgment in Money Suit No. 16/2006 has already been passed on 17.03.2018 by the Court of Ms. Kalpana Hazarika, the then Civil Judge (Sr. Division)-V, Dhanbad dismissing the said suit on contest without cost.

Considering the aforesaid report, there is no need to further proceed in the present matter.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
