04/18.11.2021 Learned counsel for the appellant, Ms. Rashmi Kumar submits that only surviving defect has been removed today by filing the authentication fee of Rs. 420/-. Office to verify.

This appellant along with other convict, Veeru Kr. Hari stand convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 376(D) of I.P.C, Sections 6 & 12 of POCSO Act by the impugned judgment dated 19.06.2021 passed in Special POCSO Case No. 03 of 2020 by learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum- Special Court (POCSO Act), Koderma and have been sentenced to undergo imprisonment for life which means imprisonment for the remainder of convicts' natural life with a fine of Rs. 50,000/- each and default sentence under Section 6 of POCSO Act. They have also been sentenced to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for 2 years with a fine of Rs. 1,000/- each and default sentence under Section 12 of POCSO Act by the impugned order of sentence dated 25.06.2021. Both the sentences have been ordered to run concurrently.

Call for the Lower Court Record from the Court of Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Court (POCSO Act), Koderma in connection with Special POCSO Case No. 03 of 2020.

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that other convict, Veeru Kr. Hari has preferred Cr. Appeal (D.B) No. 157 of 2021, in which Lower Court Records have been received earlier and he has been enlarged on bail by suspending the sentence vide order dated 27.10.2021. Office to verify.

Matter be placed under the heading 'For Orders' on I.A. No. 3576 of 2021 along with Cr. Appeal (D.B) No. 157 of 2021 in the next week.
