04/ 24.06.2021 The petitioners have approached this Court for a direction upon the respondents to grant pay scale of Reader and Lecturer to petitioner No.1 & 2 respectively as per 6th Pay Revision along with all consequential benefits as well as arrears of salary.

At the very outset, learned Sr. counsel for the petitioner submits that issue involved in this writ petition, is now no more res integra as the same has already been decided in the case of State of Bihar & Ors. Vs. Syed Asad Raza & Ors., reported in AIR 1997 SC 2425 and this Court also taking into consideration the aforesaid judgment has disposed of several cases, involving the similar issues.

However, learned counsel for the respondents seeks sometime to file counter-affidavit.

Prayer is allowed.
