Having heard learned counsel for the parties and the reason explained in I.A. No. 5532 of 2020 seeking condonation of delay of 28 days in preferring the instant appeal, the delay is condoned. I.A. stands disposed of.

The appellant is aggrieved by the dismissal of Original (Mat) Suit No. 348 of 2014 seeking divorce on the ground of desertion by the impugned judgment dated 30.11.2019 and decree dated 05.12.2019 passed by the learned Additional Principal Judge, Additional Family Court, Jamshedpur.

Learned counsel for the parties agree that an effort can be made for amicable settlement of the matrimonial dispute through mediation at this appellate stage also before adjudication on merits. Parties are ready and willing to join the proceedings physically or online, as the condition allow, at JHALSA.

In that view of the matter, let the parties approach the learned Member Secretary, JHALSA on 05.07.2021 between 10.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. He can also be approached through the following cell number:

2. 8986601912 Parties should indicate beforehand as to whether they are willing to join the proceedings physically or online to the learned Member Secretary, JHALSA. On their appearance the matter be placed before the learned Mediator, JHALSA for undertaking the exercise. If the parties join the mediation proceedings physically, then the appellant husband shall pay Rs. 1000/- as travelling and incidental expenses to the

respondent wife on each date she attends the mediation, in presence of the learned Mediator, JHALSA. Both the parties are expected to cooperate in the mediation process with open mind and attend each of the sittings. In case they are able to arrive at an amicable settlement of their dispute, the terms and conditions be reduced in writing under their joint signature and be submitted along with the report 4 weeks thereafter.
