03/21.01.2021: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The present application has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No.95 of 2006, corresponding to G.R. Case No.384A of 2006 [S.T. No. 90(C) of 2013] pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Latehar.

From perusal of the records, it appears that the petitioner is languishing in jail custody since 12.03.2020. The name of this petitioner has been taken by co-accused namely Faiku Bhuiyan and Ramdeo Oraon who have already been acquitted by the trial court vide its judgment dated 04.10.2019 as stated in para-11 of the bail application.

Counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the material available on record, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Latehar in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No.95 of 2006, corresponding to G.R. Case No.384A of 2006 [S.T. No. 90(C) of 2013], subject to condition that the petitioner will submit self-attested photocopy of his Aadhar Card and also submit his mobile number before the learned court below which he will always keep active and will not change it during pendency of this case without prior permission of the court.
