08/12.01.2020 Respondent has entered appearance through learned counsel Mr. Sabyasanchi by filing Vakalatnama.
This appeal by the aggrieved husband arises out of the dismissal of Original Suit No.107/2014 instituted under Section 13(1)(ia) & (iii) of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 vide impugned judgment dated 2nd July 2019 and decree signed on 15th July 2019 passed by learned court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Ranchi whereunder the prayer for a decree of dissolution of marriage was rejected.
Learned counsel for both the parties submit that an effort can be made for amicable settlement of the matrimonial dispute between the parties through mediation at this appellate stage before entering into adjudication on merits.
Learned counsel for the appellant submits that though the appellant was residing at Ranchi, but after loss of job he has shifted to Koderma and is engaged in private practice. He may be allowed option to join mediation online. However, he shall endeavour to attend mediation physically also, if possible, at JHALSA.
Respondent stays at Bhagalpur in Bihar and is willing to join mediation online from her own facilities.
In that view of the matter, let the parties approach the learned Member Secretary, JHALSA on 20th January 2021 for participating in a mediation exercise on the following phone numbers :-

On their approaching, matter be placed before the learned Mediator for undertaking the exercise. Appellant may attend mediation
physically or online, as the case may be, but it should be indicated beforehand to the learned Mediator, JHALSA. Parties are expected to cooperate in the mediation proceedings and attend each of the sittings. If they are able to arrive at an amicable settlement, terms and conditions thereof be reduced in writing by the learned Mediator, JHALSA and be submitted along with the report four weeks thereafter.
Let the matter be listed in the week of 1st March 2021 along with the report.
