08/06.12.2021 Sole appellant stands convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 304B, 498A of the I.P.C and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, while he has been acquitted from the charge under Section 3 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and the co-accused Pushpa Kaur has been acquitted from all the charges by the impugned judgment dated 24.07.2020 passed in Sessions Trial No. 05 of 2019 by the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Palamau at Daltonganj and has been sentenced to undergo R.I. for life u/s 304B I.P.C.; R.I. for 2 years with a fine of Rs.1000/- and a default sentence u/s 498A I.P.C. and R.I. for 6 months with a fine of Rs.1000/- and a default sentence u/s 4 of the D.P. Act by the impugned order of sentence dated 31.07.2020. All the sentences were ordered to run concurrently.
