                                      ORDER

1 This is a petition seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the

respondent for willful disobedience and non-compliance of judgment dated

01.12.2014 passed in OWP No. 525/2009 whereby a direction was issued to

the respondent to accord consideration to the case of the petitioner for

allotment of strip of land, subject matter of the petition, which was stated to be

lying adjacent to the plot allotted to the petitioner.

2 In response, the respondent has filed the statement of facts.

3 Mr. Adarsh Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the respondent has

passed on a copy of consideration order dated 23.08.2017 whereby the case of

the petitioner for allotment of strip of land adjacent to his plot has not been

found tenable as per the rules and, consequently, the request of the petitioner

has been rejected. Copy of the consideration order is taken on record.

4 In view of the statement of facts filed and the consideration order passed,

no case for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent is made

out. Accordingly, proceedings in this contempt petition are closed.
