This contempt petition is pending since 2013. In the instant contempt petition, the petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents who are stated to have not decided the Election Appeal in terms of order passed by Writ Court.

Statement of facts/compliance report has been filed. Copy of judgment passed in Election appeal is on record. Perusal of which reveals that Appellate Authority has complied with the directions of the Writ Court.

None has appeared for the petitioner when the matter was called out today.

In view of statement of facts/compliance report, the Writ Court order has been complied with by respondents and, therefore, contempt proceedings are dropped. Resultantly, contempt petition is closed.
