The compliance report has been filed by the respondents, in which it is indicated that the case of the petitioner for confirmation as State Mass Media Officer in the Directorate of Family Welfare Department has been forwarded to the Secretary, J&K Public Services Commission, Srinagar vide communication dated 16.08.2016 and it is for the J&K Public Service Commission to convene the meeting of DPC to confirm the promotion of the petitioner. It appears that the judgment passed by this Court has remained un-implemented because of in- action on the part of the J&K Public Service Commission.
In that view of the matter, Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission is arrayed as party respondent. Let notice be sent to Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission along with a copy of the contempt petition, judgment and compliance report filed by the respondents, for compliance.
The compliance report in this regard shall be filed by the Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission to this Court within two weeks after he is served with the paper-book aforesaid.
