                                 ORDER

01. Petitioners have initiated contempt proceedings for non-

compliance of judgment/order dated 09.12.2016 passed by this Court in

SWP No. 1907/2013 in which it was directed that:

".........respondents to accord consideration to the case of the petitioners, who are stated to have been working as SPOs continuously for the last more than 20 years and pass appropriate orders thereon as shall be warranted in terms of instructions amplified vide communication No. Home/PB-IIT/62/G/2008 dated 25.09.2009, besides the claim of the petitioners for release of medical expenses they incurred on their treatment and amount of compensation for loss of limbs while performing their duties as SPOs in the year 1999, be considered, preferably within a period of eight weeks from today. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case............"

02. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that respondents in

compliance of the order dated 09.12.2016 have accorded consideration to

the case of the petitioners and passed order No. 4069 of 2018 dated

06.08.2018 rejecting the case of the petitioners.

03. In view of the above, order dated 09.12.2016 stands complied, as

such, nothing survives for consideration in this contempt petition and

proceedings in this contempt petition are accordingly closed. However,

petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order dated 06.08.2018, if cause

survives.

04. Disposed of.
