The instant application has been filed by the applicant seeking extension

of time for filing the affidavit, stamp and court fee etc in support of the appeal.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed. The

applicant shall do the needful within a period of three days, when the normal

functioning of the Court begins.

This is an application seeking exemption from filing certified copy of

the impugned judgment/award.

Learned counsel for the applicant/appellant submits that the appellant

has already filed the certified copy of the award in Mac App No. 59/2021, arising out

of the same accident.

For the reasons stated in the application, coupled with the submission

made at Bar, the application is allowed and requirement of filing certified copy of the

award is dispensed with.

Application is disposed of.

Operation of impugned judgment/award dated 24.12.2020, passed by

Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Jammu shall stay, provided the appellant deposits

the entire awarded amount along with interest in this Court within a period of six

weeks. On deposit, the same shall be kept in a fixed deposit initially for a period of

six months.

Application is, accordingly, disposed of.
