1. This contempt petition is filed for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for wilful disobedience and non-compliance of the interim order dated 27th August 2015 passed in OWP No. 1508/2015 titled Ashiq Hussain Sheikh & Ors. vs. State of JK & Ors.

2. It has been brought to my notice that OWP No. 1508/2015 has been finally disposed of by this Court vide judgment and order dated 7 th June 2017. In that view of the matter, the order of which the contempt is alleged has merged with the final order.

3. This contempt petition does not survive therefore and is accordingly dismissed.
