Criminal Revision No.104 of 2021

Cr.MP(M) No.862 of 2021

By way of this application, a prayer has been

made for condonation of delay in filing the revision.

However, as per report of the Registry, in view of the

orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, dated

05.03.2020, qua calculation of limitation during Covid-

19 Pandemic, the petition has been filed within

limitation. Accordingly, this application is disposed of,

by observing that no order is required to be passed on

the same, as the appeal is within limitation.

Application stands disposed of.

Criminal Revision No. 104 of 2021

Issue notice to the respondent, returnable for

21.06.2021, on steps being taken within two weeks.

This is an application for suspension of

sentence. Since the main petition is pending

adjudication before this Court and there are arguable

points in the revision, in these circumstances,

subject to the applicant/petitioner depositing 50% of

the compensation amount in the learned Trial Court

within a period of six weeks and furnishing personal

bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety in the

Court within the same period, with an undertaking

therein that the applicant shall appear in the Court as

and when directed and shall surrender to serve out

therein is allowed. Consequently, the applicant, at this

stage is exempted from filing certified copy of the

judgment passed by learned Trial Court. The same,

however, be filed within four weeks. The application is
