The only dispute which surives in the present petition

is the release of the admissible excess amount and interest

accrued thereupon from the date it was in excess.

2. Mr. Narinder Singh Thakur, learned counsel for the

respondent-Bank submits that the bank would be returning the

amount alongwith interest as prevelant from time to time in the

similar kind of FDs. He further submits that the property which
