By way of these writ petitions, the petitioners, who are

working as Piece Meal Workers with the respondent-Corporation,

have approached this Court, seeking a direction to the respondents

to convert their services on contract basis. In this regard, the

petitioners have already made representations, which are still

pending before the authorities concerned.

Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Yes.

3. In view of the nature of the case and prayer made

therein, no response is required from the respondents.

4. Considering the averments and prayer made in

these writ petitions, with the consent of learned counsel for both

the parties, these writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to

the respondents/competent authority to decide the

representation(s) of the petitioners, in accordance with law, within

a period of one month from today. While deciding the petitioners'

representation(s), the respondents/competent authority shall also

take into consideration the judgment delivered by learned Single

Judge of this Court in CWPOA No.1517 of 2019, titled Prem

Singh versus Himachal Road Transport Corporation & another,

decided on 18.12.2019. Liberty is also reserved to the petitioners to

approach this Court again, in case they still feel aggrieved and

dissatisfied with the outcome of the representation(s).

Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also

stand disposed of.
