Alleging that his son alongwith various others (named in the writ

petition) were illegally detained by respondents No.4 and 5, the petitioner has

preferred instant petition seeking writ of habeas corpus for their release.

2. Notice of the petition was issued on 28.1.2021. Today Mr.

Rajinder Dogra, learned Senior Additional Advocate General on instructions

imparted by Mr. Raj Kumar, Sub Inspector, Police Station, BSL,

Sundernagar submits that all the persons named in the writ petition are not in

any confinement and are freely doing their day-to-day routine. Some of the

.

persons named in the writ petition including the son of the petitioner have

attended the Video Conference today from the office of learned Senior

Additional Advocate General. Learned Counsel for the petitioner does not

dispute this fact.

In view of above position, the substantive grievance of the petitioner

stands redressed. Accordingly this petition is disposed of having become

infructuous reserving liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy in

accordance with law for his surviving grievances, if any.
