By way of present First Appeal under Section 96 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 read with Section 19 of the Family Courts Act, the appellant herein - original petitioner - husband has challenged the judgment and award dated 23.10.2018 passed by the learned Judge, Family Court, Gandhinagar in Family Suit No.21/2015 by which the suit filed by the present appellant under Section 13(1)(1-A)(1-B) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 seeking decree of divorce has been dismissed.

Present First Appeal came to be admitted by an order dated 23.08.2021 and was kept for hearing.

Today, learned advocates appearing for the respective parties have stated that the matter is amicably settled between

the husband and wife and they have resolved their disputes and have started residing together. A notarized copy of Memorandum of Understanding dated 23.02.2022 is taken on record.

In view of the above settlement, learned advocate Ms. Falguni Upadhyay appearing for the appellant does not press the present First Appeal. Hence, present First Appeal is disposed of as not pressed in view of the amicable settlement arrived at between the parties.
